Red Riding Hood is a 2011 American Romance, Suspense, Horror and Adaptation film directed by Catherine Hardwicke based on the folk tale Little Red Riding Hood. Red Riding Hood Film stars Amanda Seyfried, Virginia Madsen, Billy Burke, Julie Christie, Shiloh Fernandez, Gary Oldman, and Max Irons. Red Riding Hood Movie plot follows beautiful young woman Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) who is torn between two men. She is in love with the woodcutter Peter (Shiloh Fernandez), but her parents Cesaire (Billy Burke) and Suzette (Virginia Madsen) have assured prosperous blacksmith Adrian Lazar (Michael Shanks) that Valerie will marry his son Henry (Max Irons) in order to pay a balance that Cesaire has with Adrian. A gloomy Valerie plans to run away with Peter, but their plans are put on hold when Valerie's older sister Lucy is found murdered in the woods by a werewolf that hunts people on the village.
